Very dissatisfied. They repeatedly tried to upsell third-party liability insurance, and after I refused, they gave me a Buick Regal. Have you ever seen anyone driving a Buick on American roads? Clearly, it was a car they couldn't rent out. After refusing, they insisted on upgrading to an SUV. After an hour of back and forth, I finally got the car I wanted. I will never use Dollar again for car rentals. The return process was smooth with no extra charges. I won't come back to Honolulu again; it feels just like Tokyo with Japanese stores everywhere, heavy traffic, high prices, small hotels, poor beaches, and water too cold to swim. The cost-performance ratio is extremely low.
They were trying to upsell me on everything and the counter guy told me I was taking huge personal responsibilities on everything with me not buying their extra everything insurances when I did end up having lots included which was more than a bit weird.
All in all good. GPS places you behind Dollar Return off Nimitz.. not their fault.
