Picking up the car in downtown San Francisco was very convenient. After returning the car at Los Angeles Airport, ALAMO provided a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, which was great. The customer service staff tried hard to sell prepay fuel and insurance, but we politely declined. One star was deducted because the reserved FORD ESCAPE was unavailable at pick-up, and we were given a Dodge MPV instead. While practical, it was not suitable for mountain roads.

The initial process was good. However, after returning the car, there was an additional charge without any notification or written explanation. Directly charging the credit card like this is very unsafe. I suggest improving this.

The condition of the vehicle was excellent, and the service at the rental company's front desk was good. It would be even better if the staff could provide a brief introduction to the basic features of the rented vehicle when picking it up.

Renting a car is very easy. You just need your passport and driver's license to pick up the car; no notarized documents are required. The service attitude is excellent, and the return process is very fast. There's even a shuttle bus to the airport gate. Great service overall.
