CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON BUDGET IN PISA

My parents collected the car and unbeknown to them were sold some additional insurance, despite saying they didn't need it. The first they knew was a bill in the post when they got home for an additional 180euros. A tad steep when the initial rental cost was only £88. This is in the process of being resolved, hopefully by budget. But beware and make sure you check everything before you sign.

Booked a Mercedes B class estate (or similar) got a Skoda estate which I was told was equal to a Merc... Thought I then agreed for the delta between used fuel and full tank, not a full tank so again was fleeced of an extra 50 euros. Price doesn't include VAT which is misleading. Kids' car seat pricing is a con as is the charge for an extra driver...

The status of the car and the car itself were below my expectations. It was a Fiat Qubo which has central-locking problems and i had to go back to the pick-up location twice. Also it was not the kind of car that i had requested for.

Lied about the cost of the insurance 31 euro a day I was expecting the insurance to cost me £217 - They also said the insurance I had with the original waver was not valid compared to what they offered.

Explain to me how budget in piza Italy can rip people off

Staff as usual trying to sell you lots of extras.

Rude staff on collection, expensive extras, unforeseen costs

A little more than we wanted to pay but the service at collection and drop off made it worth the extra money.

Budget wrongly charged me 112 euros for a small scratch on a wing mirror when I returned the car claiming that it was nor present when the rental started. Fortunately I had photographed the whole car at the start which showed that the mark was in fact present when I collected the car. I am currently attempting to persuade Budget to remove the charge but otherwise I will claim the amount from the Easy Rent Cars insurance policy. I was very disappointed with the service I received from Budget and I will not use the company again.

Efficient service. Didn't provide the car that was requested, i dont think a peugeot 308 sw is similar a bmw 2series but the car drove well, was comfortable and modern. Returning the car was quick and straightforward.

Very easy to book through the platform and great price. I would use easyrentcars again without a doubt
