CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON ROUTES AT CALGARY AIRPORT, YYC

Like: Everything was exactly as stated. No high pressure up selling. Courteous staff.
Dislike: Nothing.

Not many people in line

Like: Good value, professional service, timely and courteous.
Dislike: Not in terminal

Like: They didn’t have any Kia Rio’s available when I picked up, so was upgraded to an SUV which I was very happy about! The Jeep was in excellent condition with low mileage. Quick and friendly service. I ended up needing an extra day plus had to add another driver for that day, and this was done with no problem at all. No issues on returning the vehicle at all, as in they didn’t try to rip you off. I will definitely rent from them again next time I’m in Calgary.
Dislike: We had trouble finding the address. Probably because we were not paying as much attention as we should have! We put the unit # in Google maps instead of the correct address. Also I was looking for Easy Rent Cars which now I’m assuming is a 3rd party Next time I’ll know.

Like: Don’t let other reviews deter you from renting here at Routes based on location/proximity to airport. The location is plenty close to the airport, the value compared to other big name rental companies is excellent, and all the vehicles we saw and the one we drove are in excellent, super clean condition.
Dislike: Nothing

Initially, they charged the wrong amount and we haven't received a refund yet. The car provided wasn't the one we originally booked, which felt unfair to us as Chinese customers. After some communication, they finally gave us the car we had booked.

Like: Staffs were friendly and it took less then 10 min getting paper work done. They gave us a free upgrade.
Dislike: No

Good attitude and short queue times.

Good attitude, but the wait for the shuttle bus was a bit long.

The rental company is quite small with limited staff, so the wait time is relatively long.
