The communication in English wasn't very smooth, but the staff was very patient!

The reception was clearly visible right at Queenstown Airport.

The car rental provided an international driver's license translation, but they didn't mention that the translation needed a photo attached. As a result, the car rental point did not recognize our driver's license translation! We ended up paying to get the translation done. It was frustrating and we waited over an hour at Queenstown Airport to get an authorized translation. Very unpleasant experience!!

The staff were enthusiastic, but they repeatedly tried to sell their own insurance.

Self-service pickup, spent a long time finding the car in the big lot at night. It was too dark to inspect the car.

Easy to choose and book, good information provided.

EZI in Queenstown is just a few meters away from the airport. Picking up the car was very easy, no need for a deposit or passport, just fill out a form and check the car's paint. The car was almost new with 7K kilometers and very easy to drive. Drop-off in a different location was also very convenient, just self-park and exchange keys.

No Chinese service at pickup, making communication difficult, especially when dealing with accidents. There is Chinese service at dropoff, making it simpler.

Ease of pick up and drop off was fantastic. Car was in great condition and all for the best price!

Not bad, even better

The store does not have Chinese-speaking staff and the service attitude is bad. They constantly pressure you to buy additional insurance. When picking up the car, they don't inform you about important usage instructions, and the inspection is careless. There were three scratches not marked on the diagram, and if we hadn't inspected it carefully, it could have led to disputes when returning the car. Strongly do not recommend choosing this rental company. On the first day of renting, they charged a 255 NZD cleaning fee, falsely accusing me of smoking in the car. This significantly ruined an otherwise pleasant trip.

The car's condition was well-maintained, and the service process was standard. However, the overall rating is mediocre due to a dispute. During the return at Christchurch Airport, the rental company's staff only asked if the car was returned with a full tank; no other checks were performed. I had to proactively ask if an inspection was needed, to which the staff responded no, just park the car in the designated spot. Later that evening, I received an email from the rental company stating that they found scratches and would withhold the entire deposit. Since I was driving on the left side, I was extremely cautious to avoid any accidents. The unconfirmed scratches and the subsequent charge made the rental experience rather unpleasant.

The staff were very enthusiastic and considerate. They arrived within 5 minutes after I called from the airport. The paperwork was simple. When I returned the car, I didn't have time to refill the fuel. I was told it was okay to estimate a bit more for the fuel charge, but the elderly lady was very considerate and drove us to refuel the car before heading to the airport, which was both accurate and quick... The only downside was that the car was not a current model. It seemed to be a local brand compact car with slightly insufficient power. :P

I only used the car for one day and had to return early due to a family emergency. They showed no sympathy at all.

I feel tricked by this company. They charged me for a full tank of gas and said they would refund it if I returned the car with a full tank. But when I returned the car, they said the refund wasn't possible.

Excellent, highly recommended.

The service was very good, very friendly and detailed. The only downside was finding out there was no parking sensor after hitting the road, which was a bit uncomfortable.
