You can walk to the counter of Budget - Perth Airport car hire.

Airport Terminal Instructions COUNTER: Desk in terminal at T4 Qantas. Booth in T4/T3 and T1 Domestic car parks. Customers arriving at T2 Regional, or T1 Virgin should proceed to the car park booth in T1 car park. CARS: Located a short distance outside respective terminals. RETURNS: T1/T2: Follow the car rental return signs and access the car park by taking the slip road on the right of Airport Dr. T3/T4: Follow the signs, the car park entry is located on Miller Rd. AFTER HOURS RETURNS: Available. T3/T4 & T1 International: Available during airport hours only. Drop box located at the Avis counter in the terminal. T1 Domestic: Key drop box on car park booth.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Please note that an International Driving Permit(IDP) is only a translation.You must present your original driving licence with the original IDP at the counter.

The translation of the driver's license certified by the Australian Translation and Accreditation Institute (NAATI) can be used to rent a car and drive in Australia.

Original Korea Driving Lisense (English version)

The back of the driver's license must have English translation.

Budget Australia may require a customer renting a vehicle to complete a Rental Qualification Form and provide additional identification as it deems necessary or appropriate or in accordance with applicable law(e.g. copy of utilities bill, phone bill).

Customers can travel to Phillip Island by land for free. Cars are not allowed on the Ferries.

Vehicle on ferry is pohibited. Bribie island can be access by a bridge so you can visit there but must stay on sealed roads.

1. The brakes were giving loud stressing noise when applied. The vehicle should have been checked before releasing. 2. Wanted to delay pickup time by 1.5 hrs due to my flight time arrival and called the Australian number from Malaysia. The customer service personnel recorded my request but not able to email me confirmation. Passed me to another lady who wanted to charge me a lot extra for the delayed-pickup request which I find ridiculous as it was still within my booking period and I have no intention to delay the drop off time. She finally relented after my reasoning and said will inform the pickup location. Also said that she will email me my requested pick up time confirmation. I DIDN'T RECEIVE THE EMAIL.

There were no lines at the Budget counter at Perth Airport when picking up and returning the car. The staff was very friendly and patiently explained the rental details and traffic rules in Western Australia. We received an almost brand new car with only a few hundred kilometers.
