In general, the car exceeded my expectations (I received Mercedes instead of VW) and almost everything was great. The only two negative moments: long time waiting at puck-up (only two-three persons were at the counter, while there were about ten customers), and refusal of the company to accept debit cards.
Green Morion would not take any responsibility for my booking contract as I had booked through a 3rd party. Even though Green Morion was the hire company linked to my booking. I found the staff at the check in desk with an attitude and also trying to charge me for extras which I didn’t need and what a I believe were included in my contract booking. When I went round to collect my car I asked for copies of my documents and was told they would be emailed to me. I said that wouldn’t happen as the check in member hadn’t asked or clarified any of my details. Lack of attention to detail. The manager was helpful in resolving this for me. I also had booked a manual and received an automatic which I then requested to have changed.
Picked up the car after the first staff member couldn’t comprehend the paperwork. Car upgrade - appreciated. Both car headlights were defective and dangerous. Had to call RAC to put bulbs back into holders. Told staff on checkin & didn’t really seem interested.
I would hire again but make sure there was a proper inspection before I drove away. Didn’t do the inspection this time because staff said I was covered for any damage.

The car was through Green Motion, not Ace. (Maybe they were bought out? I don't know but we were at the right place and they took the rental papers.) Because we didn't opt for the additional insurance that they were trying to sell us or anything else that they were trying to nickel and dime us with, we had to put a £1250 deposit on the car. Fortunately, we can afford that and our credit card limit is high enough to put that much money on it. Many people can't. They told us the car was in good shape with no defects. However, when we inspected the car, both passenger side wheels had "curb rash", and there were a few other scratches. We had the rental agent notate that on our rental agreement. We also took photos and a video. Upon returning, the inspector immediately looked at the curb rash and was going to mark that on our rental agreement when he noticed it was already there. Thank heaven, we were proactive. I will never, ever, ever rent a car with Green Motion.
The whole process from waiting for the shuttle bus at the airport to getting the car needed around two hours. Only one counter opened on the day of car pick-up, so there was a long queue. Otherwise, it was good.

Disorganized in the front office, took over 2 hours to get the car. Front office is within a paid parking zone, drop off without paying fee is only 15 minutes. Strongly advise payment of parking fees if you are being driven to pick up the car. Car handover person after sign up was rude.

Машина новая, чистая, без всяких проблем. Депозит, по сравнению с другими компаниями, маленький и вернули его через день после окончания аренды.

They could not check the car in quickly as it was a 30 day hire. I was there for almost an hour and a half whilst their computer gave problems. They then tried to bill me one day extra at a high day rate when I actually handed it in a day early! They then corrected this but I must look at my statement next month to ensure they did not bill me extra.
