Fantastic 4x4 car and great service once we'd been driven for 10 mins to office. We had to call the number to get picked up when arrived at Airport and taken to their office, which was not clear on the instructions.

Finding the drop-off was not easy, going round in circles trying to find it, once found then had a 500m walk back to the terminal with large luggage in tow through snow.
Thrifty is very close to the airport, with an airport shuttle available that takes about 3 minutes. Since we arrived on an early flight, there were not many people in line at the store, and we were served directly.
The company provides airport pickup services. We contacted them upon arrival, and they came quickly. We got the car in fifteen minutes, which was quite convenient.
They just closed, saying they were celebrating Christmas and told us to come back the next morning. This was very untrustworthy and they didn't inform us in advance, making us stand in the cold for over an hour trying to contact them. We had to rent a car at the airport in the end.
Our flight was delayed by four hours and we arrived at midnight, but there was someone holding a Procar sign waiting for us as soon as we left the airport. We were picked up in a Mercedes MPV, which made a great first impression!
The process is not very complicated, but you must be prepared with a credit card. We used to rent cars with a debit card, but this company only accepts credit cards, which caused us some trouble when renting.

service was good although not "on site " as I was expecting. I took over £1299 excess from my card rather than just putting a hold on the amount which is something that had never happened before. No one was at the office to take the car back so I took photos to prove I had not damaged the car. If I get my dep back soon I could not fault the service!!
The service from the staff was good. They informed us about the car's condition, fuel level, and other important details. Although they mildly promoted their 'all-inclusive insurance' product, it wasn't pushy, which was acceptable.
The pick-up was not timely. Seriously, who has the obligation to wait for you? The car in Iceland didn’t even have snow tires, making customers change them themselves. Really, what a joke.
