Like: I was happy with Green Motion Service. Dislike: I didn't like EasyRentcars.com service. Their are not customer frendly and customer support team was awful.
Unlike other car rental companies, this one requires bank statements and address information for residents in the UK. As a result, I couldn't rent a car and didn't get my money back. It's a blatant unfair policy. It's time to take this to consumer protection.
The order reminder was to call the car rental company upon arriving in Manchester, they would pick us up at the airport and take us to the rental location. On June 15th, after we arrived at the airport, we contacted the rental company several times, and each time they said they would come immediately. Even the staff at the airport information desk and the traffic coordinators helped us call the rental company. However, we waited at the airport for over an hour before they arrived. When we finally got to the rental location, there were only three customers ahead of us, but we still had to wait another hour. During the car pick-up procedures, the staff continuously tried to sell us insurance. On June 17th, when we returned the car, the company claimed we had exceeded the mileage by 190 miles and needed to pay extra. We pulled out our rental order, which clearly stated a maximum of 432 kilometers. The initial mileage was 6333 miles, and when we returned the car, it was 6570 miles, totaling 237 miles, which is 379.2 kilometers, not exceeding the 432-kilometer limit. After we pointed this out, the staff apologized and admitted their mistake. The service of this car rental company is truly subpar, and we will be more cautious in choosing next time.
The staff were friendly and helpful. When they found out we were going to visit the Manchester United club, they kindly recommended a nearby free parking spot.

Like: No line ups and fast friendly efficient staff... Exactly what we needed after a 24 hour flight. Dislike: There was no additional driver option on the easy rent cars website, we had to arrange this with Enterprise directly
The staff were not British, had very heavy accents, which made it hard to understand them. They were unprofessional and did not offer any explanations or suggestions. The rental cost shown was £231, but I ended up paying £780.95. They required an additional £440 for insurance (for 2 people) and £110 for a second driver. A Visa card without the UnionPay logo was needed for payment, which was a bit frustrating.
Like: At 12Am midnight, Mark,Arek and Joe were very friendly in dealing with my request. Note my flight was delayed by 2 hrs. They helped me to select, understand the car, loading luggage and provided comfort. Dislike: I booked 5 seater car but at the end what was offered was 4 seater car.
The car I booked wasn't prepared (same thing last time), and I waited a long time (again, same thing last time), almost two hours past the pickup time. They ended up giving me a Smart car at the last minute. I couldn't wait any longer, so I just accepted it. You might ask why I would put up with this; well, it's because it's cheap.
