Car was filthy. Counter guy was MIA. Car advertised or “similar “ we got similar and wasn’t as good as advertised car. Would not use again On a better note drop off staff were much more efficient

Everything is good but please allow me to correct the English in your question. “exceed” should be used following “Did”. Counter “staff” not “stuff”.

Worth to use for car rental service

The car was fine. The staff at Europcar however weren’t helpful or friendly. In the email instruction i received, I was told to show the confirmation without printing out. When I did so, the staff said they needed a hard copy and I didn’t have a photocopier and emailed my copy to them instead. I then presented my drivers licence and they said they needed my passport as well. Having travelled from the city center to the airport to pick the car up, I asked them if they would send the car to the city as I wasn’t advised to bring my passport in the email. I offered to pay extra for the service. The staff said no and ignored me when I asked for other alternatives. I had to take another grab car downtown to get my passport and returned to the airport. In order to pick up my rental car, I had to pay 3 times out of my own pocket for the Grab rides. The staff could have been a little more helpful. It’s not an experience I’d like to repeat. It’s my last time renting a car from Europcar.

The return location was unclear.

Should provide “touch n go” card or tag for toll, as it’s not easy to purchase in town.

Cover the insurance claim at the same time but not reimbursement the claim.

Great and Easy

Easy to find the counter as it located in terminal. Speedy pick up and drop off process, less than 10 minutes. Book for honda city but upgraded to new Honda civic without additional charge. Car condition is new but abit dusty inside, overall good performance.

Very helpful staff. Quick and efficient service. Car had lots of small surface damages on pick up but staff were helpful in marking all of them to avoid any liability on my part.

I book Perodua Bezza but got Proton Saga-lower category without any information before - dissapointing experience

Felt car was relatively low-powered. Slight acceleration and I will hear the engine roar. Pick-up was slow but seems better than other cars on the road. So maybe it is the general conditions of car on Penang roads.

we have to step hard on the accelerator to get the car moving. Car is spacious, aircon is cool, petrol consumption is economy. Overall value for money.
