Was given initially a Citroen Cactus, requested for car change due to the dirty car. Marciano of the AVIS counter was super helpful, he gave us a equivalent Volvo C40 as he recommended. The car was clean and excellent. Superb drive around Amsterdam thanks to the car. Fuel efficient travels, hassle free. Quick pickup and return times. Thank you AVIS, thank you Marciano. Keep up the good work.

Pick up was smooth and drive to destination was fine. Unfortunately the car would not start for our return journey to the airport and I had to call assistance which took over an hour to arrive (not Alamo's fault). The return drive was very stressful and we arrived with only 35 minutes to our actual flight departure. We therefore did not have time to put petrol in the car or we would have missed the flight. The system automatically billed us for the higher refuelling cost but, after contacting customer service, they charged only for the fuel and refunded the additional charge.
After having received shocking customer service from Alamo/Enterprise Spain after a hire last summer, I was very pleased to receive such positive, fair and rapid customer service from Alamo Netherlands.
The car did not match the one we reserved, we were forced to buy additional insurance, and the deposit, which was supposed to be refunded in three days, has not been returned yet.
When picking up the car, I found that the fuel tank was two notches lower. It's the first time I've encountered this, but I was too tired to go back and argue with them.
Mileage of the car is very high, 75,000km plus, but the car condition is excellent. The GPS is very poor, it needs a lot of local language to find the destination. The screen is also horrible.
The car we rented was in excellent condition. The employee who delivered the car to us in Amsterdam was very attentive and helpful. Even though it was a local holiday he picked us up and delivered the car after the car rental had already closed. This made the difference for us because we would lose hotel reservation and time in case we had to come back later the other day to get the car. On returning in Zurich the staff were also very attentive.

The experience in renting a car with the company was excellent. The entire online procedure was very easy and safe. While no other company provided Vans to deliver to our destination Easyrentcars.com managed and with an excellent price.
The car pickup location in Rotterdam is not far from the station. The staff are friendly and their explanations are clear. The drop-off parking lot at the airport was hard to find due to road construction. When we called Europcar for help, they just told us to follow the signs, but the signs were small and confusing. In the end, it took us an hour and we only found it with the help of a police officer.
The car seat we reserved for our 7mo, did not meet our expectations. The thin foam padding was scarce, and had holes in from wear an tear- so it looked worn out; the construction frame of it wasa thin plastic shell, (to be secured to the car by the seatbelt) however, the entire chair moved freely with one hand - so we were petrified for any sharp corners taken with baby inside/ let alone a collision.
I understand that the staff won't fit the product for insurance reasons- however, this didn;t fill us with any confidence as they threw it on the ground at my feet and said "you must read the instructions on the sticker and fit" despite me never fitting this type before.
The seat itself was really hard, and uncomfortable for my baby; which resulted in cutting our holiday in half- and not driving around Holland as planned, due to her crying after no more than 10mins.
I will never reserve a car seat again due to this completely terrible experience.

The car was ok , not new or nearly new.
Could not switch on the auto air con due to a very strong sickly smell... had to leave it switched off, if I was not so far away from site when I noticed this I would have returned with the car.
Thankfully the weather was not that warm so the air con not necessary,
The service due now light was continually showing whenever the car started...
