Extremely Nice, Helpful Young Lady at the Rental Desk

The car stunk like cigarette smoke when we picked it up. We don't smoke, we hate it. It was DISGUSTING. The good news: The young lady who helped us when we picked up and dropped off the car is wonderfully helpful and nice. She went the extra mile to give us what we wanted. I am sorry I did not get her name (she is Asian and has a blonde/light streak in her dark hair), but she most definitely deserves a raise!

The service was great, but the car wasn't new. I had to wait an hour and a half to get a Tesla. Driving it on long trips was nerve-wracking, needing a charge every 190 miles. There was a lot of noise inside the car, and the right rear door was hard to close.

Did not get the originally booked Jeep, the SFO downtown location is very small with limited vehicles. Ended up waiting an hour for a Nissan SUV, which felt like a downgrade. The trunk was very small, filled up quickly after shopping, and the rearview mirror got completely blocked! On the bright side, the return process was fast, and the pre-authorization was refunded immediately. Overall, quite satisfied, giving a good review!

With covid19 business was minimal but service rep was very nice and helped with out questions. I don’t normally use hertz due to price and service. This time it was a good experience.
