Terrible experience with Europcar. Bad communication on return location and issue with faulty car which has still not been resolved. After returingn the car to the correct location I was sent threatening letters over a 48hr period because they had not checked the location and were accusing me of not returning the car.
Overall satisfied. The vehicle provided didn't have a recognizable brand, possibly a local UK brand. The trunk was large enough to fit four suitcases. However, the two rear doors couldn't be opened from the inside and required someone outside to open them, which was very inconvenient. We tried several times, and it wasn't due to the child lock, unsure of the reason.
Like: Pleasantly surprised by how helpful the Europcar office staff were with limited upsell. Dislike: I got slightly confused at Heathrow T2 over which bus stop to use for the shuttle - some better signage that can be seen at a distance would help.
