The waiting time in line was not long, but they only gave us the key when handing over the car, without any introduction or explanation about the vehicle. We had to figure it out ourselves later.

Although the procedures took a bit long due to the detailed explanation, the service was good. Car pickup and return went smoothly. The car was a new model with low mileage. No pressure to purchase additional insurance. English proficiency required was not too high. Pickup and return were right at the airport, which was very convenient. Highly recommended.

We rented the car from the Budget store in Hobart Downtown. The front desk staff were very patient and courteous. They carefully inspected our documents and explained the rental terms and precautions in detail before accompanying us to inspect the vehicle. They recorded even the slightest scratches we pointed out, even the ones that could be ignored, just to ease our concerns. They also advised us to take several photos for documentation. The first car we received was a brand new Renault Koleos SUV with only 1500 kilometers on it. However, we noticed a noise from the tires after driving out, so we returned it and were given another nearly new model with 3500 kilometers. The car was in excellent condition and came with an integrated GPS, which was very convenient and accurate for navigation!

Efficient and quick. The pick-up and drop-off locations are both in the city center, very convenient. The car was in good condition, very satisfied.
