Cost was more than quoted. Unhappy and won’t use again

I originally rented a Chevrolet Equinox, but after picking up the car, I noticed the oil needed changing and the warning light indicated an oil change was required. I contacted Dollar, and they immediately replaced it with a Ford Mustang, which worked perfectly!

For a luxury rental with only 10,000 miles on it, you'd expect some things to be in good condition. First, the car had dings and scratches all over. We were told not to worry about it but if we were to take pictures. Glad we did because they tried to say we chipped the paint. But that wasn't the worst. We drove from SLC to Provo the night we got in and noticed the car was shaking a lot. We took the car to a Discount Tire in the morning to have it looked at. We planned to pay for balance and rotation ourselves just to save the hassle. BUT, two separate tire shops wouldn't touch the car because it was deemed unsafe. They would only put new tires on it. So we got on the line and it took about an hour to resolve it. They finally put new tires on with an account they had with Dollar. It delayed our day by about 3 hours total. Really irresponsible to not ensure their cars are safe before renting them. 2/32 tread on the tire with bare spots and radials showing. Absolutely something they should have cared to check and fix,

No problems at all with this system.

We found d 2 cigarette butts. 1 in a cubby on passenger front door but was highly visible. Other was under passenger seat.

They did not have a car for me upon my arrival...I had to wait an hour and then instead of getting an intermediate car which is what I paid for I got a small Hyundai Accent!!
