The screen went black twice during the trip, which was quite worrying. Fortunately, it didn't happen again afterward!

This is the third time I've rented a car from Alamo. It's excellent—quick and easy for both pick-up and return. Besides being affordable, they also offer an extra driver for free. Overall, this car rental company offers great value.

Very good service attitude

Both picking up and returning the car were very convenient. Following the directions provided by other users, I quickly found the store. I rented a Toyota RAV, and on the third morning, possibly due to my unfamiliarity with the car or some operational issues during driving, the windows were frosted because of the cold weather. I let the car idle for a long time to warm it up, but after starting to drive, the throttle felt heavy, and the car stalled after moving a short distance. This issue repeated several times after restarting the car, especially at red lights where I had to stop and then go again, sometimes necessitating a complete restart. At one point, the car wouldn't start at all. In desperation, I asked for help from a nearby parking lot attendant. He kindly checked the car but couldn't identify the problem, and communication was difficult. So, I drove the car back to the store for inspection. A young man there checked the car and said everything was fine. I explained with gestures and words for a while. He suggested that the long idling time might be the issue and assured me the car was fine for cross-Canada travel. Over the next few days, the same issue of the car stalling and needing a restart happened two or three more times, making me quite anxious. The car worked well on highways but had problems at low speeds in the city. I'm not sure of the cause and hope someone knowledgeable can provide guidance to ensure everyone's safe and stress-free travel, especially when abroad, where unfamiliarity with the area and language barriers can pose significant challenges. Safety is paramount.

Dealt with quickly and efficiently at the counter. Lighting in the car pick-up area makes the pre-checkout inspection a little difficult.
