I used the translation service on the Zuzuche platform, but the rental company didn't accept it. I had to go to a nearby store to retranslate my driver's license, which cost over 600 RMB. It was time-consuming and delayed my trip. Another Chinese girl had the same experience.

The store is within walking distance from Southern Cross Station. We were four people, and two of us took an Uber with four suitcases, costing 8 AUD, while the other two took the tram. The car rental company is very professional, and the staff explained everything patiently. We left a 100 AUD deposit, which will be refunded 7 working days after returning the car. However, we haven't received it yet. Returning the car at Avalon Airport is also convenient. Just park the car at the designated rental parking lot and drop the keys in the Dropbox at the car rental counter in the terminal. Local time at the airport and major streets and scenic spots can be seen locally.

Got a brand new car. Smooth transaction. Not much time taken.
