They took a $200 deposit from me without mentioning when it would be refunded. My friend rented from the same company and wasn’t charged a deposit, so it felt unfair.
Hertz is after all a big company with many customers. I arrived at the store at 7:20 AM and there were already two customers in line. Fortunately, the store is big enough to accommodate three customers at the same time. The staff patiently explained the entire rental process and showed no dissatisfaction when I declined the recommended options. They even personally directed me to the window to demonstrate how to pick up the car at the parking building across the street. Very thoughtful. Thumbs up!!
Honestly, it was great. The car model was impressive and very practical, making it an enjoyable experience.
