The queue time was very long, there were no self-service machines, and it took about forty minutes to wait in line. Additionally, I had already chosen and fully paid for insurance on the rental car app, but was asked to add more insurance when picking up the car. They mentioned something about California law, but the Mexican accent was very strong and I didn't fully understand. They charged an additional $25 per day.
When I arrived, they told me there were no cars available and asked me to pay an additional USD 99/day to switch cars or keep waiting. I insisted on not paying, so I waited over an hour before the rental company gave me the car I initially reserved. However, the car was not cleaned at all!
The store is not far from the airport. I booked a Ford Edge AWD, but got a Chevrolet 2WD instead. The power is terrible; it's very slow to accelerate at 60-70 mph, making overtaking difficult. Strongly don't recommend BUDGET!
I got Hyundai accent which is smaller then the car I expected to get (Ford focus or similar).
