The service attitude is just average. They often actively recommend upgrades to other models or insurance, which is not very pleasant. Additionally, there was an unusual issue regarding fuel. Normally, I receive the car with a full tank and return it with a full tank. However, this time, I might have overlooked that the contract included a 'FPO Accepted' clause, meaning 'Fuel Purchase Option.' This resulted in additional charges for a full tank, even though I returned the car with a full tank. I was charged nearly $40 for fuel, tax, and service fees. Fortunately, when I rented another car shortly after returning the first one, I noticed this issue and requested a refund. I'm currently in the refund waiting period and haven't received the refund yet. I advise all rental car users to be cautious and ask about any fees they don't understand!
I have rented from Thrifty several times at this location, but this was the most disappointing experience. After a late-night flight, the queue was long, and the Indian staff member aggressively upsold extras and insisted we pay for an upgrade. In the end, the car we received had a broken air conditioner.
They claimed there was a smoke smell in the car during return and wanted to charge me 400. They also promoted various insurance options at pickup. Do not book the cheapest option, go for the second tier instead.
