The car was excellent but I was subject to strong urging to upgrade to a flash model that I didn't want. Plus the usual dire warnings if I didn't take out the extra insurance.

There was one scratch on the front bumper of the car that was not very visible unless you looked very closely underneath. I did not have any collision (that I know of) during my rental, but Goldcar decided to charge me ~250 Euro anyway. There is no way that this scratch would cost this much to repair; I have experience in collision repair and it was a touch up job.

Goldcar is a FRAUD. My credit card did not work, so to allow my partner's card, they made us buy some kind of extra insurance for 2 times more than we initially spent, which also included full insurance...
