The staff at the rental company were very polite and proactively explained various important matters. The vehicle had high mileage, and there were occasional unexplained alerts from the car's computer. It would be better if the car condition is checked in advance by the rental company.
There were few people when picking up the car, which was okay. However, when returning the car, we waited in line for an hour and a half. The kids were crying and there was nothing we could do. It was a bad experience.
Only one hitch when I tried to extend the hire neither easy car nor apex wanted to take responsibility, however thanks to the manager in Auckland it was all sorted.
The car was tired and fairly scratched. It was generally the worst looking rental car in the parking lots of our hotels
