Almost too easy

Overall quite good. The store at Madrid Airport in T4 is easy to find. If you land in T4S, be sure to take the shuttle to T4 to find the store. I wandered around T4S for a while... When returning the car, make sure to go slowly. If you drive too fast and miss the entrance, you'll end up at the parking lot's toll booth. Once you're there, you can't go back and will need to take another lap around. The actual car return entrance is a small, inconspicuous opening on the right before the toll booth.

There were quite a few upsell attempts, but I declined all of them. I forgot to refuel the car before returning it, so I was charged a service fee, which was quite expensive! Remember to return the car with a full tank. For the first time, I was charged an emissions fee, and there was another fee that I didn't quite understand, which was also quite expensive. I booked a manual transmission car but was given an automatic one; the vehicle was brand new.

The service was straightforward without excessive sales pitches.

The cost of our child car seat was almost double what we have been quoted - complete joke! Charging so much for the safety of our child is disgusting. It cost us more to keep her safe on the road than it did to actually hire the car.
