Pretty awful. The building was run-down, and there were approximately 50 people in line ahead of me. There was no air-con and it was very hot outside. The woman at the counter was very rude and almost did not accept my reservation because I purchased it in NZD. She gave me a "free" upgrade after I refused the offer to pay for one, and the vehicle I received repeatedly gave me a "low oil" warning - scary to drive!
QEEQ is really reliable. After comparing with other services, QEEQ offers the best prices and comprehensive insurance. Their service is excellent. If your flight is delayed abroad, their customer support will help you communicate with the rental company, which is very considerate. They also call to check if the car rental went smoothly. QEEQ is getting better and better.
The clerk initially refused to provide a vehicle to a customer without a passport. After half an hour of negotiation, I was able to pick up the car.
I had rented from the same branch at the end of August 2018 and did not encounter this issue.
Only thing missing were how to handle tolls on highways with the device installed in the vehicle and how to pay the tolls after rental.
Also it could be nice to have a more clear overview of requirements regarding insurance, it’s always a jungle!
Their prices are the cheapest available and that comes with other prices. 30 min long line of people and no cars of the type you book are part of it. Other rentals will offer you free upgrade, budget will charge you for this and give you car you dont want - in my case it was truck. Lady at the counter told me that its not too big and she is driving it her self and it got back camera for parking which is necessity in LA and that mid size SUV is too small for 3 people. When I wanted different, smaller car they offered me mustang (literally the opposite of big car). Apparently I can wait until someone return car I booked and then I can take it. I canceled my booking and went to Dollar which is very well organized. Until today Im waiting for refund from budget.
