The counter staff refused to give me access to the car without paying for their own insurance (they claimed that my Visa gold was not a valid credit card). The terms of that extra insurance were never given to me and I had to insist to get a receipt. I felt trapped.
Avoid using Green Motion at all costs.
They are a fraudulent company that invent damage to the car then even if you have proof the damage was pre existing they still take your money he from your credit card.
Google and trip advisor are full of reviews off people saying this and I wish I had read the reviews before using these scumbags sevices
They are cheeky. I left car early morning second time without check with them and second time I need to pay for damages. It is better to have insurance but not with them
After completing the order on December 8th, there was an inexplicable charge of 4486.88 RMB on December 19th. There has been no explanation so far. Please confirm and compensate for the loss as soon as possible!
Provided a car of a higher class (I ordered a class with manual transmission and gave Toyota avensis with automatic). The car is super clean and in good condition.

Very happy with the price I paid. Check-in and pick-up went very well too. BUT.... the drop-off was not a nice experience. I had to wait 20 minutes. then the whole process took another 20-30 mins. The guy was very young and clearly didnt have much experience. He spent a lot of time and started showing me some micro-small scratches incl. on a roof, suggesting it was all my fault. If I knew that, I would have examined the car very carefully during the pick-up, documenting everything. He wanted to charge me 270 PLN on the spot but I refused because it was nonsense. Luckily, in the end the company didnt charge me anything on top but it was stressful anyway.
The car rental service was good and everything was explained clearly. However, there is an extra charge of 100 euros per country if you travel to other countries.
The rental agency try to rip me off by paying the damages I didnt do. Also I took the damages cover insurance and dispite the insurance they try to make me pay about 600 euro. Its scandalius. I follow you the message they send me

We rented this car for two days from this company. We've never hit or scratched the car. They have about three employees and are located on the 3rd floor of the airport. When we booked the car, it was clearly stated that we would return it at 7 am to catch an 8 am flight. On the day of return, we arrived on time, but they were not open. We called several times but got no answer. Eventually, when we got in touch, they said they weren't working yet and told us to park the car, leave the keys and contract in their mailbox. We didn't even see anyone from the company.
After we got back home, in September, we received a charge saying the glass and doors were scratched, costing 3400 RMB.
When we returned the car, a foreign woman with a child came up to us and said, "I shouldn't interfere, but I previously rented from this company and they charged us for no reason, so be careful, check the car thoroughly and take pictures." We heeded her warning, checked the car carefully, and took photos.
God knows this small company actually charged us for nothing. They didn't even send an email or call, just directly charged us. When we asked for the reason several times, they finally sent an email with some documents that were too blurry to read. They arrogantly said since we had insurance, we should contact the insurance company with those documents. The problem was the documents were so unclear that we couldn't make out anything. We asked them to send clearer pictures several times but got no response. Still no reply as of now...

Things I didn't appreciate (actually I was very upset about them) with Green Motion are?
1. Long list of damages an price list to review and accept
2. Expactation that I will prepay for cal wash or I will do it before droping off !!!!
3. Tank wasnt full and expectation that I will match the same fule level at drop off.
The car was excellent and clean. The service was good when I picked up the car. The only problem I had was at the pick up I was supposed to bring a credit card with my name on it which I don't possess so my wife brought one but they would not accept it. I had to pay an extra £71.76 because I don't have a credit card, I thought this was a bit excessive, They also took a bond of £754 on my Debit card which they held onto for 10 days. It ended up not so cheap a rental
I have just been in contact with Green Motion Katowice Airport -Poland to discuss few issues I have come across renting car through this franchisee.
To begin with after I have returned the car on Saturday 26th January, I’ve received an email that apparently I am responsible for scratches on the roof, rear left door and front right door. Total charge for the damage is 1073,60 Euros. I have received photographs of the damages, however, none of the photographs has date and time stamp, which could be taken at any point in time. When I raised it with the staff at GM Katowice he suggested to go into setting which obviously does not work as it shows me time when I downloaded the photos.
The scratches looks as if they were made by automatic wash, parking a car at the property not a communal or street parking it’s impossible to make such a scratches, especially on the roof.
I was collecting the car in the middle of the night when the car still had a frost on, therefore unable to point more damages/scratches.
Second issue that I had was no windscreen wash, which I only realised driving down the motorway in Poland. Clearly the car was not serviced. I have purchased it myself to make sure I can travel safely. As somebody could imagine driving with dirty windscreen isn’t particularly safe especially during winter time.
Third issue was that the car was not cleaned inside. I have paid 10 euros for an option of returning a car without cleaning not for an option of receiving a car that wasn’t cleaned. I have made this clear to the staff at Katowice airport who suggested that this is not what I have paid for, therefore I assume I should not be expecting clean car anyway.
I deeply regret not washing the car myself as now it turns out that I am the one responsible for the damages that have occurred after I have returned it.

I don't understand why the paper documents are not all complete for our arrival. I book a rental car 5+ times a year and this would be an easy way to speed up the process. The company has all of my details when I book online. Please use this to prepare the documents so I don't need to redo it.
Otherwise the staff are lovely, vehicle is very good, nice and new. The location is easy to find and drop off process is also very easy.
