There was no new Citroën C1, but instead, they gave an old Peugeot 107 in terrible condition. Beware! There are hidden traps! The fuel gauge showed half a tank when we picked up the car, and we were told to return it with half a tank. However, after driving only 100 meters, the fuel level dropped. It's almost impossible to add exactly half a tank, and if you overfill, they just say thank you. It's a total rip-off. Not recommended. The process was careless and unsafe. They were impatient during the car inspection and didn’t let us check the car properly. Overall, I don’t recommend this company. Be cautious!
Easily found just across from the port, great location. Although the staff's Greek-accented English was a bit hard to understand, everything went smoothly.
I initially wanted to rent a Ford Focus, but it was unavailable, so I had to rent a Fiat Punto. The policy was to pick up the car with a full tank and return it the same way, but the fuel tank was empty when I got the car. The rental staff said it was fine and told me to fill up the tank myself. Since I didn't know how much fuel I would need in Santorini over the next three days, I filled it up completely, only to find out I used just a bit over half a tank. I couldn't get a refund for the unused fuel, which was slightly annoying. The car's condition was quite average, neither new nor old.
The credit card used was within the range specified by the rental company, it was a MasterCard. However, on site, the card couldn't be processed for the deposit, even though the rental fee was already deducted. I didn't carry another card with me on this trip.
There is no office at Santorini Airport. At the agreed time, a staff member will come to you with the car. The guy who assisted was very friendly and explained everything clearly. When returning the car, you might sometimes leave it directly at the airport parking lot without locking it or meeting anyone. Although this feels a bit unsettling, it seems to be fine.
We arrived at the airport very late and asked them to deliver the car to the airport. However, the car they provided was not the one we had reserved; it was an old JEEP. What's even more frustrating is that the window broke and wouldn't roll up the day before we returned the car. It seems it's still better to rent from a big rental company.
Exit the airport and turn right to the parking lot where a shuttle bus marked 'Auto-Union' will pick you up. Check your order, and if everything is correct, it takes about 10 minutes to get to the car pickup point.
