The car pickup process was straightforward. The staff marked the required fields on the form for me to fill out, which was convenient. The car I rented had over 30,000 kilometers on it, but its condition was still okay despite having many scratches. However, the white color of the car made these less noticeable. The staff showed me where the spare tire was located, then did a walk-around to document all existing scratches.
No Chinese service. An unused spare tire was found to be flat when returning the car. The same person who handled the pickup directly opened the trunk and took out the tire. We had no choice but to pay extra. Strongly suspect the tire had a slow leak which couldn't be detected during pickup.
The rental car company staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The vehicle had less than 20,000 kilometers on it and was in good condition.
When I arrived at the car rental company's reception, the female staff member had a very bad attitude. She asked me to send the company confirmation email to her. Since I had just arrived in Thailand and couldn't connect to the internet, I explained my situation to her. However, she got angry and told me she wouldn't give me the car. As I had two young children with me and urgently needed the car, I asked her for help to use the computer to print out the email. Shockingly, she swore at me in English, saying 'FUCK YOU'. I didn't argue with her in front of my kids, but I was very disappointed and embarrassed by such unprofessional behavior. I hope I can get an explanation for this incident. Thanks.
The store's workflow is very efficient. After checking the car rental form, they noticed I only had one copy of my driver's license, so they thoughtfully made an extra copy for me and gave back my original for future use. The car exchange was also quick; they simply checked the fuel and confirmed the return. They even reminded me that 5000 THB would be refunded to my credit card in two weeks. Most importantly, they upgraded my reserved car to a higher category, which was much more comfortable than an A-class car.
