Waited at the airport for almost an hour before being picked up, nobody answered the phone

I rented a Toyota Corolla hatchback, but received a Mazda 2 hatchback, which is significantly smaller. The representative was an Indian with a heavy accent, making communication difficult. The company's location is very far from the airport, and although they offer airport shuttle service, I had to wait an entire hour at the airport! Very dissatisfied!

The car we had hired was damaged but HITCH was able to substitute it with a reasonable alternative

I wish there was an up-sell of insurance - not that I needed to claim anything but I would have gone for it.

Waited approx 40 mins for airport collection. After that, everything was fine. When I arrived early for drop-off, the van was about to leave so that whole process was super quick!

I understand that renters need to keep the seats clean, but requiring us to clean the floor mats before returning the car is unreasonable. It's like being asked to wash the dishes after eating at a restaurant. The car rental company should be responsible for cleaning their vehicles.

Like: Small economical vehicle which is what I was looking for the purpose of my trip.

Like: I liked how straight forward the whole process was, how obliging the staff were and the bang for buck.
Dislike: My partner got one car and I had another, her car was terrible to drive, no reflection on the company but if they had to update their cars I would suggest they don’t get anymore Fiat Puntos

Like: The car is easy to drive, easy to park, petrol consumption is low, rental fees are reasonable. An Excellent mode of transportation for travel.

Easiest booking process I have ever received for a car rental. Staff were very efficient and the vehicle was better than expected. The booking out was equally as good. Only issues were a couple of accessories not performing properly.

The first car , that had an issue was changed immediately without any fuss. Late arrival was also easily accommodated.

Helpful service when I had questions about a delay in Shanghai. The operator went out of their way to help me and allay my worries.

The staff at Hitch were very efficient and helpful.For $24 per day the vehicles were brilliant.

They close at 8 PM sharp and only reopen at 8 AM the next day. During this time, all fixed-line and customer service phones go straight to voicemail. So, if you have any issues during this period, you cannot contact the rental company. Therefore, it's best to avoid this rental company if your plane lands after 7 PM, since after 8 PM, you won't be able to reach anyone to complete the rental process.

Good rental company! The service was also great! On the first day, I noticed the paint was scratched after driving out. I took pictures and notified them via phone and email (it wasn't our fault).
