When picking up the car, I was told that the seven-seater business car I booked was a manual (even though I specifically noted automatic). They then replaced it with a Volvo XC40, but my luggage didn’t fit. The staff who handed over the car had already left for the day, and I was so anxious. Luckily, a kind guy helped me switch to a Mercedes B200, which managed to fit all the luggage.
The pick-up and drop-off process is very simple and efficient. There are shuttle cars running between terminals, and after returning the car, the rental company provides free transportation to another terminal.
The experience was pretty decent. The staff member was quite conscientious. The car was in good condition and quite new, providing a good driving experience.
The service was acceptable, but there was a significant difference between the reserved car and the one actually received. I booked an XC90 or similar because I needed the large space for luggage, but I was given a Mercedes GLB, which is two sizes smaller, and almost couldn't fit my luggage.
Wait was a little longer than I would have liked but once I was served by Will, it was a very smooth and quick process. Drop off was very quick indeed and Harry was very helpful.
The car had a warning light on the entire time. Asked the rental company, and they said it wouldn’t affect the drive. There was also a persistent beeping sound, which was quite annoying. Additionally, the left front door was problematic and required extra effort to close properly.
A month after returning home, they charged me without any reason, without any email notification, and not just once. It's outrageous, almost like daylight robbery!
