Q1.What is an insurance excess?
The excess is the amount you'll only be liable for in case of damage(under Collision Damage Waiver) or theft(under Theft Protection) of the vehicle.
Information about the excess will be clearly stated in the price inclusion when you reserve a car on QEEQ.
Q2. How can I add an addtional driver?
You are advised to make a request upon your arrival at the rental counter. Additional charge per day will incur unless '1 Additional Driver Included' is stipulated on the rental.
Please note that the same licence and age requirement applys to the additonal driver. The addtional driver is supposed to present the required licence document along with the main driver at pickup.
Q3.What if I want to pick up or drop off my rental car out of office hours?
QEEQ will show you the car offers available at your chosen time on the search results.
However, pick-up or drop-off out of general opening hours may subject to an extra fee unless self-service pick-up or drop-off is available.
After you reserve a car on QEEQ, we will inform you of specific policy of the car hire company by email.
Q4. Can I take the hired car to another country or cross border?
If you want to pick up your car in one country and drop it in another, your search results will show you cars you can do that with.
If you're planning to cross any borders during your trip, bear in mind:
1. You may have to pay more.
There are often extra fees, taxes or additional cover you'll pay at the car hire counter.
2.It may not be allowed.
Depending on where you're hiring, you may not be able to take your car to another country.
Please email us if you want to take your hire car into a different country during your trip, and we'll talk you through your options.
Q5. Can I pick up my car at one location and return it at different location?
Yes. You can pick up the vehicle in one place and drop it off in another. An ‘one-way fee’ will incur. Whether it is inclued in the rental price or what additional cost may arise will be clearly stated at the time of booking on QEEQ.
Please inform the car hire company of your drop-off location when you pick up the vehicle or contact them directly during your trip. You will find a phone number on the rental agreement you signed at pickup.

Very positive experience. We had to wait roughly 45 minutes to pick up the car but that was caused by two or three subsequent landings. The staff in the office was very efficient and helpful. Provided all information and advice. In English too.

Best car hire experience we've had. Really quick and efficient pick up and drop off and none of that feeling that you often get when hiring a car abroad that they're trying to rip you off. We were surprised that the car was electric (all Hertz hire cars in Corsica apparently are) but charging was really easy (much better than in the UK suprisingly) and it was great to have a hire car with decent acceleration for a change!

We struggled to understand why a pin head size mark ( this is not an exaggeration) on the windscreen was the focus of attention especially given the very dirty car we were given at pick up. Fortunately my wife had photographed every surface of the car at pick up and she was able to identify the pin head on one of the photographs. This really concerned us as a trust issue for us with Europecar.Their cut off for what is an issue with a car being returned seems very out of step with other companies which use the size of a coin as the cut off. Are Eoropecar trying to set up customers for pay outs or was this just one over zealous employee? I would appreciate a response to this question Thanks

Requested a manual transmission. Were given an automatic. Pick up process took so long that we took what we were given. Very disorganised - staff had no idea which car our key belonged to. Actually walked round the car park till a car opened! Long queue of customers when we came to drop car back but they kindly let us walk through & just gave the key to lady behind the desk.

They did not have the car I had book which was a compact SUV, they only had one very large automatic car which was too big and I did not feel comfortable driving it. I had an small accident and the tyre burst. Now I have been charged almost £4000 on my credit card for the replacement of one tyre.

The car was in excellent condition. We picked it up in less than 10 minutes, and the counter staff was very helpful and clear. We had a bit of a problem to find the car in the parking area, since there were no parking bay numbers, so that could be improved, but otherwise there were no problems.

The car had small items of damage not apparent in the report. I feel Hertz should give you full instructions on where to find the nearest petrol station to avoid delays on dropping off the car with a full tank of petrol. Brakes seemed very sharp if not used carefully. No reversing mirror to assist in backing in tight areas.
