Until then, Desks open are only CDG Term 1 or CDG Term2EF. For clients landing at Term 2ABCD, Airport changed signs to invite clients to go to Term 2EF (follow “Location de Voitures – Car Rental” signs).

Choose the appropriate car return location based on your flight’s terminal: Attention: Since October, 2024, Car Rental Desks at Paris Charles de Gaulle Apt Terminal 2ABCD are closed due to major airport construction work until March 2026. Car returns are only possible at CDG Term1 or CDG Term2EF. Terminal 1 (T1) Drive to the P1 parking lot located at Terminal 1. Upon arriving at Terminal 1, keep left to go up the ramp and follow the signs for "Car Rental." Continue left to enter the P1 parking lot.     Counter staff insisted that they only had smaller suv compared to Tucson. Then tried to upsell with added on insurance and then after that insisted on renting me snowchains because the cars all were on summer tyres. This is for a one month rent in December! Chain rental calculated per day and came to more than 100 euros after “discount”. I could have bought a set of chains cheaper than that.

    The service was quite good, but the efficiency is not as high as in China. We had to wait quite a while at the pickup counter, but returning the car was very convenient. We opted for full insurance at the counter to avoid any disputes, making the return process smooth with no extra charges. We had booked a Mercedes C-Class, but it was upgraded to an S-Class at the last minute, and the car was excellent!

    The car I booked was the car I got. The staff were friendly, and they let me pick up the car more than an hour earlier without any issue. There were no upselling tactics or unclear charges, and the deposit was refunded promptly. Since I'm not a skilled driver, I chose to purchase the full local insurance. The car was in great condition and easy to drive. One suggestion: avoid returning the car in downtown Paris at all costs—the traffic is absolutely terrible!
