Look for the Enterprise/National/Alamo kiosk, conveniently located on your right-hand side as you walk into this area. After retrieving your luggage, exit through Door Number 4, located adjacent to the food court. 2. Cross the domestic terminal forecourt to reach the multi-level carpark building directly opposite. 3. Once inside the carpark, descend to the ground floor. 4. Look for Enterprise/National/Alamo, which you'll find situated on the far left side of the building. Age requirements

18 - 80 years old

Young Driver Fee applies at 21 - 24 years old with charge of NZD 13 per day approximately.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

Towards any New Zealand islands, taking rental cars crossing border is not allowed.

Ferry Transportation: Not Allowed

National does not allow to bring the rental vehicle to ferry. You will drop off your car at one port and collect another after crossing to the other island. A minimum of 3 days consecutive rental required in each island (If the minimum length of rental requirement is not met, then the rental will be charged as two separate hires.).
