Please contact the staff to pick you up to SNAP - Queenstown Airport car hire when you arrived.

Picking Up Between 8:00am - 5:00pm: Visit our Queenstown Airport Shuttle Request page(https://www.snaprentals.co.nz/pickup-queenstown) below to request your shuttle pick up. Please ensure that you are at the airport & have cleared customs & security before requesting the shuttle. Our Queenstown Airport Shuttle arrives at the Rental Car Transfer Area. Exit the airport by the Jetstar check in area. Once outside, please stand next to the blue lockers and free phone - the shuttle will arrive here once requested. Our shuttle is available on demand - there's no need to arrange your shuttle prior with us to your arrival at the airport. Please allow 15 minutes for your shuttle to arrive. Please note: due to traffic in Queenstown, please allow up to 40 minutes for the shuttle to arrive when ordering between 3:30pm - 5:30pm. After-hours collection and drop-off are not available in this location.

Drop-off Instructions

Dropping off your rental car at our Queenstown Airport(Located at:170 Orchard Road, Harewood, Christchurch 8051, New Zealand) Process is super simple, the key things to remember are: Make sure you have fueled up your vehicle to the same level as when you picked it up to avoid a refuelling charge ($25). The nearest gas station to our Queenstown car rental depot is the PAK'n'SAVE Fuel just up the road on Hawthorne Drive. Make sure the vehicle is left in a clean & tidy state - we don't expect it to be fully groomed or anything, but a general clean and tidy will help to avoid an additional charge. After checking the above, simply drop the keys off to the branch staff who will do a 2 minute final handover process and your away! Our Queenstown Airport Shuttle service does work both ways - simply ask for a lift back to the airport when dropping off your vehicle. After-hours collection and drop-off are not available in this location.

The insurance for the rental car seems almost mandatory. We might not have been very clear about this initially. When we got there, we said we didn't need insurance, but the rental company insisted that without it, we needed a credit card guarantee, and cash wasn't acceptable. This wasn't communicated to us beforehand during the rental process. I think your platform should explain this better. Since we didn't have a credit card, we were forced to buy the most expensive insurance (we could only buy the most expensive one? This feels like a forced sale), which was really frustrating.
