NZ Zuche does not allow to bring the rental vehicle to ferry. You will drop off your car at one port and collect another after crossing to the other island. A minimum of 3 days consecutive rental required in each island (If the minimum length of rental requirement is not met, then the rental will be charged as two separate hires.).

    We arrived earlier than our scheduled pickup time. After calling the rental agency from the airport, we waited for over 20 minutes before a staff member came to the airport with the car, and then helped us get used to driving on the left side before we departed.
