The staff at the counter was not pleasant and did not listen to me.This is in regards to insurance of the rental car. I am covered by my insurance for rentals in US and Canada. Staff at the desk forced me purchase a policy of $14.00 US per day for 21 days, total of $313.00 US. This is a rip off.The cost of the car was $252.US. All necessary documents was provided. Very bad experience with this company. No more.

Never picked up the car. The people at Right Cars couldn't tell us how to get to their location. They kept telling us we needed to find a bus stop number 7, but two differen't people didn't know where it was. No one who worked at the airport could tell us where bus stop 7 was. I had to call them 3 different times and still couldn't find the shuttle. We walked around for over a half an hour trying to find this bus stop that didn't exist.

The ended up being double what the the website quoted. I expected the price to go up some because of the extras (sunpass and fuel) but double?!?!! The service at the rental place was really good and they were very helpful which is why i kept the rental but next time would appreciate more transparency on the price

When I arrived, there was a line up, but no worries yet. 15 minutes in, there were still only 3 staff helping the waiting customers while 7 computers were available, but apparently no more staff. An hour of waiting in line passed by. Another 10 minutes before it was finally my turn. I had booked the car via internet and had already chosen the insurance package, but still it took another 10 minutes to get paperwork done. Then getting the car. Not located where it should be. Another 5 minutes. Then I finally got the car -> Very Very Dirty, inside and out. Staff at the gate wanted to do a whole walk around the car and chit-chat and papers. No thank you. I asked: “the car is fully insured for damages right?” Answer was “yes”. I thus informed the guy that I was leaving and I didn’t need this b*ll sh*t. OVER an HOUR and a HALF it took me to get out of your parking lot. While I had already booked and paid via the internet! Also, the GPS system we rented had to get plugged in. Problem was that the plug in did not work. The GPS battery was dead within a day. A phone call to Fox did result in us getting the money back as a promise, and it was actually refunded when we returned the car. I did feel that the “return empty” thing was a rip off. The guy at the counter in Fort Lauderdale said Fox’s fuel prices are $0.20 cheaper than at the pump, but ehen returnong the car in Orlando.... prices were actually lower than Fox’s prices. Felt mislead. Car was very damaged with many scratches and actual huge damage to driver side door frame when we picked up the car. It was also very dirty on the inside, and windows could definitely use a cleaning on the inside too. Other than the dirtiness, the car drove great. My only reason for booking with you was that I wanted a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Not for price or location. I just wanted that car. The whole experience was not good. My ONLY appointment in 6 weeks of holidays was not met due to Fox !!

The only bad experience was I stated I was bringing the car back at 10am later decided to close to boarding and was there at 830am. But the mgr. was extremely helpful and the return went smoothly. Next time if I change the time I will call in advance also .They also returned the security deposit promptly and did not keep it a few days as other car companies. Will use easyrentcars.com in future and will recommend JC to others

HE LIED There are no tolls on the road to Palm Beach Simply a RIPP Off as I was unfamiliar with the area

“Never rent from JC!!! They are a SCAM!!!”

Waited 45 minutes to be picked up. Car was not cleaned. It was filthy, with crumpled up fast food bags under the seats. Seats had tears and holes in them. Car was 3 years old with high milage, had not been maintained and had mechanical problems. They charge $10/day to NOT use their insurance. The company is not staffed full time, so we had to make an appointment to return the car. the rep showed up 1 hour late, so we sat in a lousy neighborhood, in the heat for an hour waiting for him. The reps English was poor, so it was very difficult to communicate.

Location is ghetto, the office is a closet on the side of a repair garage that was made into a office. The first car they tried to give us had a brake light out. So they switched us to a car with major dents and a check engine light on. The inside of the glass was so dirty when the sun hit the glass I couldnt see out of it. The car had 3/4 of a tank of gas at pick up, how do you replensih 3/4 tank? It should be full and returned full.

I booked a car from February 12 till February 13 and they charged me 500 deposit, I thought it would be on hold and won’t affect my credit card but unlike others they did charge me 500$ and it reflected in my account affecting my credit score and those fees for interest (though I had 0 balance on my credit card before). Why do they actually charge deposit instead keeping it on hold?!!!

The car remote to unlock doors didn't work and I had to use key to get into vehicle which set the car alarm off everytime. This was a huge inconvience and drew unwanted attention to us everyone we got into the vehicle as it wouldn't stop until the car was started. The counter was closed and there was a sign sending us to a different Florence to get car thru a different company.

Do not rent from this fraudulent operation. First, when I booked an ''airport pickup'' I did not realize I would have to take TWO shuttles to get there, this took about 1 hour. But this was the least of my problems. Right-Cars is a literal scam operation. I really cannot understand how with countless reviews confirming mine that they are still in business. I wish I had read the reviews BEFORE my trip. So here is how the scam works: 1) They offered a price that appears cheaper than the others online, so I booked my car. 2) Once you get to their counter they say that you have to pay for their damage and liability insurance. I said that my card covers that. They replied that my card would cover damage but I still had to pay liability insurance unless I had my own. Luckily I had proof of my own personal liability insurance with La Capitale Insurance and presented it to them. He said that he would just have to confirm with his manager that this insurance was acceptable but that their manager was not there at the moment. He told me that in the meantime I would need to sign acceptance of their insurance for 169,40$ USD and give an additional 200$ USD deposit but not to worry as they would not actually claim it from my credit card company. They said it was just a deposit. 3) They force you to take their ''SunPAss for tolls'' and when I said I did not want it (at 15$ USD per day plus toll charges) they became very rude and aggressive. I should have left right there and then but to rent somewhere else last minute was 3 times the price so I decided to still accept the car. The car was dirty and old. When I got back from my trip they billed me all the above extras without my authorization. My credit card company is now suing them to get refunded. Whatever you do STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEFS!!

When we arrived (Saturday) there were 2 staff open behind the counter and 3 or four customers in line, one of the staff finished up with his client and rather than help the next in line told us that his shift was over. WOW! That's not "customer service"... It would also be great to have the "ACTUAL TOTAL cost of the rental - TAXES INCLUDED" at time of pick up. Would eliminate the taxes for everything surprise at drop off time.

The customer service and car were excellent. the instructions in the confirmation email as well as the voice mail regarding airport shuttle pick up are quite confusing. 1. the shuttle service from FLL airport ( is great) takes you to a rental car place with multiple rental car agencies non of which are EasY rent but there is an EZ rent. I arrived at night time and didn't notice any instructions at that point on how to access other rental car agencies 2. when you call the EasY rent number it tells you to select a terminal from the airport (which prompted me to get back on the shuttle to the airport before i selected a random terminal-- since i was no longer at the airport) 3. once you select the terminal it then instructs you to take the shuttle to the rental car place and walk to the bus stop. (ALL of this could be avoided by typing the instructions in the confirmation email) 4. once and the shuttle bus stop the EasI- Rent shuttle comes. (not E-Z or EasY, but EasI) this was very confusing and i wasn't even sure if i was going to the right rental car place. The workers and shuttle driver were all very kind however equally confused. Long story short- somehow you all should make this a little more clear that EASY is the booking company and EASI is the rental car place and include the proper shuttle instructions in the email!
