I, along with four other ladies, planned a 14-day trip with lots of luggage and decided to rent a car in Istanbul. This was the only company with a large automatic car available, so we booked it. Upon arrival, we waited for almost an hour and then called to be picked up and taken to the office. We were driven to a very dark side street, at least 10 kilometers from the airport, with only a dimly lit parking lot and no other staff in sight. We called the number provided by the platform, and the person on the phone told us to sign the contract with the driver first, and then he would provide the car. After signing, they handed us a manual car with no fuel, contrary to our booking. We protested, but the person on the phone insisted that we had booked a manual car. Our complaints were ignored. I then called customer service. They were polite and patient but couldn't resolve the issue. Due to the late hour, we had no choice but to pay someone to drive us to our destination. To keep up with our itinerary, we had two options: 1. Return the car and fly; 2. Wait for the company to provide the correct car. They insisted we had booked a manual car, and despite multiple calls with customer service, the company begrudgingly agreed to a swap but couldn't guarantee the timing, clearly trying to make things difficult. So, I opted for the return, which the car company refused. Frustrated, we booked flights and left the car (for which we had to fill the gas) at the hotel for the company to pick up. Initially, they claimed they couldn't collect the car, but the hotel later confirmed they did take it that same day. I've only shared around 60% of the details here, but you can imagine our frustration. The platform's support was patient and tried to help but ultimately didn't solve the problem, largely just comforting me. The customer service assured us that an after-sales ticket was created and the issue would be resolved once I returned home. It's been 15 days since I came back, neither the rental fee prepaid on the platform has been refunded, nor the company has returned the 600 Lira deposit. Why was the deposit deducted? The gas tank was full when we left! This car company is unfit for business on this platform; I genuinely suspect it's a scam.

Have the rental company promptly replace the car with the one we booked. First, they insisted I had booked a manual transmission car. No way. I called customer service again, and after a long conversation, the rental company said they would replace it but couldn't guarantee a time, which was clearly an obstruction! So, I opted to return the car, but the rental company refused. We had to book flights in a rush and leave the car (which I had refueled) at the hotel for the company to retrieve. The company claimed they couldn't pick it up, but the hotel informed us that the car had been collected that same day. The details I shared are just about 60% of the ordeal; you can imagine our frustration. The rental platform was patient and tried to help but couldn't resolve the issue, mostly just comforting me. Customer service said they had established an after-sales ticket and would resolve the issue when I returned home. I had no choice but to leave it at that. However, 15 days after returning home, the platform has not refunded the prepayment, and the rental company deducted an additional 600 lira. Why the deduction? I refueled the car! This rental company should not be doing business on this platform. I strongly suspect it's a scam!
Not being able to speak English clearly, which bothered me. I received a car other than the one that was identified by me, where I booked a European-made car and received a Korean car under the pretext that the requested car was not available, which is supposed to give me a European-made car. The way employees speak nervously and are unclear due to their poor language and lack of respect for the other party because they are not understood. I will not make reservations from the same company in the future.
Extremely unreliable car rental company!!! Please be cautious! They charged a 500 lira deposit on my credit card when I picked up the car. I returned the car on January 21st, and the staff said they would refund the deposit within 2-3 working days. Today is February 12th, and I still haven't received the deposit. The staff on WhatsApp is now completely ignoring me. I've never encountered such a company!! Also, the car had no fuel when I picked it up.

Excellent service from Cizgi rent a car. I highly recommend this company. In the past I only use to use the major international car rental companies. But after being scammed by Sixt couple months earlier who gave me a disgustingly smelly car which also had lots of marks inside and outside. They then charged me £150 for a cigarette burn which I didnt cause as I dont smoke. Warning if you use Sixt in Turkey please check inside and outside and photograph. They will scam you if you dont buy their insurance.So after that experience I decided to use a local company. Having researched reviews online I chose Cizgi and I am very glad tjhat i did. As the vehicle was in excellent condition. The price was half of that of the major international rental companies. And Service from Cizgi was top notch. Thank you Cizgi.
I needed to rent a car for 20 days, but on the second day of use, the car's display indicated a lack of windshield washer fluid, so I had to buy a bottle and refill it. On the third day, the vehicle indicated maintenance was needed in 300 km. Because the display was in Turkish, it seriously affected my usage. The rental company's customer service told me that for diesel cars, it might need AD Blue or engine oil, and I should add it myself. However, they did not inform me beforehand who would cover the cost or what brand of AD Blue and engine oil to use. I found a Shell gas station and asked the staff to check, and they said the message was not for adding AD Blue. This caused a whole day of worry about using the car improperly and potentially damaging it.
I originally rented a Nissan Qashqai, but was given a Ford SUV instead, which had plenty of space. The service was enthusiastic, they brought the car promptly and conducted a thorough inspection of all parts. They informed us to refill the fuel and reminded us of some important points without pushing additional insurance. At drop-off, they inspected the car immediately and signed the confirmation slip in a short time.
