There were few reception staff, only one person, but the service attitude was decent and actively helped to find information about German traffic regulations. (Rented in Hungary, the car might not have a parking card, but short-term parking in Germany might require one, so he printed the relevant information and explained it to me, also telling me how to handle any issues that might arise.)
The staff at the airport service counter were indifferent. They kept asking if I wanted to upgrade the service and get a bigger or better vehicle. After I declined all the offers, they still gave me a car that was a class lower than what I reserved. When I picked up the car, I noticed it was much smaller. I specifically needed a vehicle that could handle several large suitcases, but this one could only fit one. I was very upset. The staff member assisting me couldn't speak English, so I had to wait over 20 minutes for someone who could. After a lengthy 20-minute dispute, they finally agreed to give me a different car but wanted to charge me an extra 5 euros per day. By then, an hour had passed, and I was too frustrated to argue further. I decided to address the issue with the rental company after returning to Beijing. These small companies focus on petty profits and don't operate transparently, which is why they remain small. Moreover, they require all cars to be returned by 8 PM, regardless of your flight time, forcing you to spend extra time waiting at the airport. I'll never rent from such companies again. I took photos of the car and hope the rental company resolves this issue.
The staff could communicate basically in English and their service attitude was excellent. However, the car model was supposed to seat 7 people but could actually only seat 5. It was similar in size to a 5-seater wagon, so if you have 7 people, it's better to rent a 9-seater.
Picked up the car in the city center, the store was quite hidden. Had to ask around to find it. The service was great, very friendly and thorough. The pickup process was simple.
The company always recommends models different from what I booked. This isn't the first time. They attract customers with low prices and then upsell more expensive options. This company is very shady, more so than rental companies in other countries. Their attitude towards Chinese customers is quite unfavorable, and it feels like a scam.
