Good value, good quality and friendly efficient staff

The car rental company instructed us to check the car condition and inform them, but said there was no need to inspect the tires carefully. When we returned the car, a small cut was found on one of the tires. We informed them that we drove only on city roads and highways, where there was no chance for the tire to get cut. Still, the company deducted the repair fee from our deposit. Other companies usually hold a pre-authorization on the deposit, but they directly deducted £200 from our deposit. It feels like they are trying to make extra money through other means. Customer service never replies to emails. The return location is also hard to find.

Highly recommend Enterprise in Oxford! Super efficient, cars are very new, and the staff are really nice! This was my first time renting a car overseas, I originally planned to rent at Heathrow Airport, but after some consideration, I chose Oxford instead (one of the best decisions of this trip). There was no queue at all, and I got the exact model I reserved (2023 Mercedes A-Class, great condition). Overseas rentals usually can't guarantee the exact model, only a 'similar class' car, but we were lucky. However, this rental company's cars are generally very new, so even if it's not the exact model, it shouldn't be too bad. Special thanks to Charlie and Felicity. Charlie inspected the car when we returned it, it was quick because we drove carefully and had no scratches, so he quickly confirmed the car's condition and refunded the deposit (within 7 working days). After returning the car, Miss Felicity drove us to a nearby train station, she's super nice and really friendly!

My husband and I both had our driver’s licenses translated. The service staff only filled in my information and then insisted that we buy more insurance. We said we already had insurance but she claimed that only I could drive the car. If my husband wanted to drive, we would need to pay an additional £50 per day. After we got in the car, she kept warning us that if my husband drove, we would be fined £1000. Eventually, my husband went back to the office and another staff member clarified that we just needed to add his license information. It was frustrating!

The service was excellent, the introduction was detailed, and the car was very new.
