Very good overall, but as we booked and paid on line before we went some of the charges weren’t explained properly to us ! You could make it clearer about fuel charges and insurance fees. We booked two cars and wanted to add a driver to one , but the guy we dealt with did not listen and added 3 drivers to on and two on the other ! And charged for the extra driver but it was quicker to just go with it.
The delay to pick up was shocking.
I had to wait ages. And missed a dinner date with friends because of it.
There was no apology when I eventually got to speak to the Centauro staff.
They took one hour of our time for the pick up as they didn’t allow us to pay with a debit card just because we didn’t make the booking with them, and we as through easy rental car. Also, they wanted to charge us again for the insurance when we already paid for that in advance. The staff wasn’t qualified and they were also very rude
Seller tried to force me to buy additional insurance. He was trying to threaten my about what bad could happen. I refused to pay, tried to put 1000 euro cover on my credit card in case of possibly demage but my credit card had limit below this amount. I resigned and didn't pick up the car, afterall this was my vacation and I didn't want to bother myself about additional expenses or thinking what bad could happen to the car.
