The next day, when I went back to the airport to pick up my husband, the maintenance light came on. I quickly drove back to the rental company and requested a replacement. Fortunately, the manager attended to us and replaced the car with a new one with just over 1,000 kilometers. It somewhat compensated for the initial dissatisfaction! We had a different drop-off location; after inspection, the staff handed us a document. My husband carefully reviewed it and noticed they wrongly charged us for 3 gallons of fuel at $6/gallon, despite returning the car with a full tank. After further checking, they reduced the charge by $50. Make sure to inspect everything thoroughly during the rental process and contest any discrepancies!
