The car was excellent. The process of dropping off was very smooth. However, in order to get the car, the staff was very stiff. Firstly, he would make me wait to check whether my license was international or not despite me telling him that it was. Secondly, he offered me a manual driven car where i have paid for an automatic one. And when asked about alternatives, he simply asked me to either take the car or leave. I highly suggest giving training to AVIS staff in order to avoid such kind of rigidness in customer satisfaction.

Great experience, they upgraded the vehicle for us. The car was very new and freshly cleaned before being handed over. It was a hybrid vehicle, which was very fuel-efficient. Compared to Avis in central Paris, this was much cheaper, and there was no queue.

The AVIS at Lyon Airport is large, located within the car rental park. The staff have a very good attitude, especially the gentleman during the car return—he was particularly charming.

The rental and return processes were quite smooth. The car provided was okay. However, when I arrived, I found out that the car I booked (BMW) was not available and I was given a cheaper one instead.
