Booked a car model domestically but found it unavailable when picking up abroad. They pushed for an upgrade at a very high price. Complaints were ineffective.
The store inexplicably charged an extra 50 USD after I signed some forms. I reserved a Toyota, but they told me none were available and gave me a Nissan instead. Their attitude was so-so. There was no staff to assist with car pickup, and there were no clear signs. I had to find the car myself in a large parking structure. Hertz's service is really lacking.
