Great experience and best value

Overall, it was quite good. I initially had some trouble finding the pick-up location but later realized it was actually quite obvious. The car pick-up process went smoothly. They did try to sell me some extras, but when I declined, they didn't push further, although they didn't look too happy about it. I had booked a Ford Focus but received a Kia that looked like a mini Cooper instead. I didn't mind as long as it worked. Returning the car was very smooth; the staff in charge of the return were very nice and made it a pleasant experience, making me feel like I would definitely come back next time.

This time, there was almost no wait at the counter; I was quickly assisted and the car rental procedure was completed promptly. This is different from before when the wait times were very long.

I requested a Malibu, and although there were plenty of Malibus in the parking lot, they directed me to a different area without any Malibus available. After complaining, they finally assigned me to the Malibu area. My order already included taxes, but the store charged me for taxes again.

They didn't have the model I reserved or a similar one, and gave us a smaller car, which couldn't fit all our luggage. The staff didn't help solve the problem. The pickup store was small and only accepted credit cards with chips.

My flight was delayed 24 hours, I called Hertz direct to let them know, it was no problem and they refunded me for the day that I didn't use. Pick-up and drop-off were both very quick, car was clean... everything went smoothly.
