I drove 30 min in snow storm to the pick up location just to be told that there is no car for me. The unqualified bearded customer service guy kept reapting that there is nothing they can do and its my problem and i should go rent somwhere else because i am. Just loosing my time arguing. Never ever rent from discount

Waited for a long time to recieve the car. The car was dirty. They cleaned the car but it still was dirty. It took a lot of time to recive the car. Many parts of the car was stingy and dirty

The vehicle was a little old and smelled of smoke.

I chose this store because it was cheap, but had to wait a long time for the shuttle. The driving distance was over ten kilometers, and the return address was incorrect. I rented a Jeep Grand Cherokee but never received that model. Instead, previous renters either got a minivan or, like us, a Toyota seven-seater, which was front-wheel drive. After three hours of negotiation, the store clearly said they didn't have any Jeep models. Observing the car returns and the parking lot confirmed there were no Jeeps. The manager lacked integrity. We just wanted a four-wheel-drive off-road vehicle, but they claimed no vehicles were available and asked us to come back tomorrow. However, several foreign customers after us received a Dodge.

The reception efficiency is extremely low. There are only three staff, and it takes two hours for one customer to get a car! The female manager stays inside eating and surfing the internet, not coming out to help, which is very annoying. The group of five European and American students before me took over two hours to get their car, and it took me over two hours as well, and I was forced to pay extra.

They didn't have a full-size car vehicle so upgraded me to an SUV.

Easy pickup and return

Good service in general but car was late at pick up, I had to wait a while that the car would come from another discount because they didn't have it.

Terrível a devoluçao, o local de entrega era pra ficar aberto ate as 22h mas fecha as 20h, não existe nenhum lugar nem ninguem que saiba informar corretamente onde devolve o carro. Quase perdemos o voo pois nos telefones, no aeroporto, em todos os lugares que tentamos a informaçao de devolucao ninguem sabia.

The flight was delayed, and I was told all cars were rented out. No car available!

My experience with discount was awful. I booked and paid for the car for a one week rental to be ready at 2:30 p.m. I arrived at 4:30 p.m. to pick up the car and was told that there was a problem. The vehicle they were supposed to rent me had not yet been returned by the previous client and they weren't able to reach him on his phone. After humming and hawing they asked me if I would be able to go to a different location to pick up the vehicle. As i had a trip planned and wanted to get on the road sooner rather than later I told them I would do whatever needed to be done to get a car. With that they attempted to make arrangements with other branches but without any luck. I had hoped I could pay a premium to park my personal vehicle at their location for the duration of the rental but was told that was impossible because they have a 75 vehicle fleet and so they dont have space. That itself made me laugh given with such a large fleet they didnt have a car for me for a booking I had already paid for. I took advantage of their offer to follow me back to my house to park my car and shuttle me back to their branch. They assured me by the time I got back I would be all set. When I got back they had a HYUNDAI ELANTRA ready. I paid for a full size car !!!! When I told them it wasnt the class of vehicle I ordered he went back on his computer in what I thought was an attempt to resolve the situation. Instead he looked at me and said "your reservation was 230pm....its 430pm ...its not our fault we dont have a car...if you were here at 230pm there would have been no problem" I PREPAID FOR A RENTAL FOR A WEEK. as far as I'm concerned that car should be there and ready for me to pickup at anytime during the rental period that I so choose. Their proposed solution was for me to sit and wait for a vehicle to be returned. At this point I was getting rather frustrated and as the branch closing time quickly approached I feared I was going to end up leaving there

Needs to improve the variety of vehicles

Staff were helpful when I had to extend the renting period. It was quick and easy.

Terrible car rental experience. Picked up the car in Toronto on November 1st and wasted over two hours at the counter. Previously booked a one-way rental, but at the counter, we were told that the one-way fee, nearly 3000 CAD, was not included. But we had clearly paid all fees including the one-way rental fee through @ZUZUCar. Called the useless customer service in China to negotiate. During the call, the customer service also confirmed with the car rental company, but the car rental company was very sure that the one-way fee was not included. They also showed me the order. ZUZUCar's customer service said it might be an internal operation issue, which delayed our trip for that day. Currently, ZUZUCar has not given any response on how to solve this issue. It's a super low-level mistake by ZUZUCar! No one has handled it so far, seeking wide attention to get this resolved!

The car was not clean enough

No the good category and the car is not there at this location I have to move to an another.

Not enough counter staff. They have many costumers and can’t procide sufficient service properly. The pick up takes very long. no after hour drop off, drop off takes very long and is completely unnecessary. Worst car rental experience I’ve ever had.

The process was simple, and the staff were very friendly.

Car had very cheap quality worn winter tires. I had snow fall 3 days in a row. Couldnt move the car. I call Discount to report this and asked to be refunded. Still no news from them. I had to abandon the car at the parking lot of my company and borrow colleagues cars to move around instead. All other cars around could move except this one. The car was towed back to discount as it couldnt move on snow conditions. Very bad experience.
