The service was great, the car was new and in excellent condition. Pickup and return were swift. Highly recommended.

Although the paperwork said there was no damage to the vehicle there was a large chip in the windscreen that if I hadn't pointed out to the staff member I would have been charged for on returning the vehicle.....I suspect this is how they make money!!!!

As described on the page, when you rent a car from Alamo in Edinburgh, UK, the service is actually provided by Enterprise. I went to pick up the car at 8 AM and didn't have to wait in line. The whole process of picking up and checking the car was very smooth, and the staff were very responsive.

The toll free number said it was okay to pick up the car 30 mins earlier... But the folks at the counter didn't release the car a minute sooner than booking time.

Everything exceeded my expectations. This was the absolutely best customer service at a car hire place I've ever experienced.

The pick-up process was very simple, and I was very satisfied with the car. Drove on Sky Island for 7 days without any issues. It was a diesel car, but the tank wasn't full at the start; fortunately, the fuel level was the same upon return as it was during pick-up. The address provided by the rental company was incorrect. They are located on B2, but the information given was for the 2nd floor, causing us to waste time and effort with our luggage.

Good service, highly recommended. Will choose again for future overseas trips.
