Initially, I reserved the car pick-up at 4 PM. However, upon arriving early, I called to reschedule, and they adjusted the time since they had available stock. I initially expected a Golf, but I received a Kia SUV without any extra charges, which was satisfying. The only downside is that CARO doesn't have a station at the train station, which makes the pick-up and drop-off location inconvenient. I suggest that the rental location details, including district, street name, and house number, be clearly provided so that GPS can find it.
The store is located in a small town outside the airport, next to a Total gas station. After calling from McDonald's nearby, staff promptly came to pick us up. The car was ready on arrival, a brand new Golf TDI with only 5 km on it. The staff was very nice and provided many important tips. The return inspection was thorough. Overall, it was a great experience. I would choose them again when visiting Munich.

Overall satisfied, but returning the car was a nightmare! The reason is that when picking up the car in Frankfurt, it was confirmed that the car was to be returned at Frankfurt Airport (common sense would think it's at the terminal's lower level), but upon arrival at Terminals 1 and 2, we couldn't find the CARO company office (other rental company offices were all there). Desperately asked locals for help and found out the CARO return office is in a nearby town. This was not clearly explained by the staff during pick-up!!!!
There were staff waiting for us right at the airport exit. We could complete the formalities on site without having to go to the rental company, as it's a bit far! They also brought the car to the parking lot, so we could leave right after picking it up from the airport.
Although the store is not at the airport, the car rental company offers free shuttle service. The car provided was almost new, a 9-seater automatic with only 4300 kilometers on it. The price was the cheapest compared to other companies, providing high value for money. Subsequent repair fees were also handled quickly, and the claim was settled within 20 days.
I saw a promotion for a 9-seater Mercedes and made a prepaid reservation, specifying that I would be traveling to the Czech Republic and Hungary. I called the rental company before departure to confirm, and they assured me it was okay and that it would definitely be a Mercedes, though the security deposit might be higher. However, at the store, the staff said the car couldn't go to the Czech Republic and Hungary and claimed they were not informed by the rental company about my travel plans. After much hassle, they gave me an Opel. To avoid delaying my trip, I took the car and left. An Opel and a Mercedes are the same class?! Not sure if the issue was with CARO or the rental company!
After arriving at Munich Airport, you need to call them to get picked up and taken to the rental office. The meeting point was a bit hard to find, which was somewhat troublesome. We inspected the car carefully during pickup and noticed many small scratches that were not previously recorded by the rental company. Not sure if it was due to staff negligence or if they simply didn't care. The car was good, a new diesel Opel with automatic transmission, equipped with an English GPS and smart control system that even alerted us to traffic jams ahead. The interior had no strange smells.
Not satisfied at all. When picking up the car, they didn't mention checking the front glass. When returning the car, they claimed there was a scratch, but we never went anywhere that could cause it. We found the rear side dent ourselves, and then the rental company noted it. If we hadn't found it, it probably would have become our fault just like the front glass.
It's a pity that the store doesn't have a counter at the airport, so upon arrival, you need to call for a pick-up and go to a designated parking lot. In Frankfurt T1, you need to wait at P29. Since it's a new place and unfamiliar, it can be a bit awkward, especially if it rains, which can be a bit frustrating.
This is a great company. It's not located inside the airport, but they provide a shuttle service. The staff are friendly, the procedures are straightforward, and the cars are in excellent condition, mostly new!

About Caro:10.0/10
Although it wasn't at the airport, the pick-up and drop-off service was very good. The staff were kind and patient, actively helping to solve problems. In a narrow parking lot in Prague, we scratched the side mirror, but after honestly explaining, the inspector turned a blind eye and let it go. On the way to the airport, they kept us entertained, making it a very good company.
