First I have to wait over an hour to get the car and it was extremely dirty. I was not happy with your counter staff Ray He is going to charge me £45.00 each day. I was told that I can drop my car in the car park while renting your car, as I have free parking at my work. On my return I was charge £48.00 because when I drove in the attendant raise the barrier manually and I was park in the space where I pick the rental car.
Why is Ray told me it was free parking and RCP charge me £48.00. The area manager of RCP refuse my explanation.
I will like Ray to pay me back the parking fee. I am not very happy about your service.
Another thing they say I will pick up the car with a full tank of petrol BUT the gaze was just over a quarter . I hope you refund my money for the petrol as deposit.
“dreadful, misleading & costly. Forced to buy insurance at counter £25per day, car was a disgrace”
About Easirent:3.0/10
Told by counter staff that my prepurchased excess insurance was null and void, Forced to buy insurance over the counter with Aaron stating that I would be liable for a £40k car, and any damage that was not reporterldnto the police and had a report... the insurance doubled the overall rental cost.
Next, when being shown to the car assigned, it was not roadworthy, engine warning light & oil service and inspection light were showing on dash. Car was filthy both inside and out, not prepared or ready for collection in any way shape or form, so given all the warnings that Aaron had highlighted to me I point blank refused to accept this car. I was then offered a lesser model at a discount of 95pence! This car was 1500 miles away from needing a full service, it had not been cleaned, the staff member (Aaron) did try to sort this out, hoovering the inside and topping up the wiper reservoir with water (even though the conditions were sub zero temperature!) he also topped up the oil. The collection took over 1.5 hours and I left feeling angry, ripped off and not at all satusfied with my experience. It also caused me to be late picking up my guests from the airport. I’m not at all happy with any aspect of the rental from arrival at easirent to return of vehicle to them.
The car was good -- it had some dings but we didn't mind. It had about 35,000 miles on it. The inside was very clean and it drove great. The only thing that slowed us down is the actual airport's set up. There's no way except for at one terminal to just walk out to the rentals, and we had to wait a long time for an airport bus to bring us out to the car rentals area. Then, it's a second shuttle that EasyRentCars supplies out to their off-site location (they were on the ball, and it didn't take long to get there -- again, it took forever to get onto the airport shuttle). Once at their location, the staff were friendly and got us in our car and going quickly.
AVOID. Terrible experience. awful customer service. poor quality of cars.
Everythings hidden in the fine fine print.
Asked for £1,800 when arrived at check in. £30 extra money for boarder fees. and £95 upfront incase i didnt return full tank.
Didnt have a similar car i purchased. Had to give me a manual Car and i asked for automatic car. First car they offered had engine managment light on. Overall shocking experience.
Excellent and no hard sales pitch for extra insurance which you usually get with hire companies. Would recommend to all and will definitely be using again
Took far to long to pick up car waited in line for over 40 mins, then had to wait for the car there was 4 people in front car was not cleaned inside or outside, windscreen was very smeary on the inside had to stop to get it cleaned
I don't know which is Easirent and which is Easyrentcars.com so have pasted this in to both.......Staff were friendly, the pickup process was a little slow, and the 'upsell' of insurance at the checkin desk was something I would have rather didn't happen. Having booked insurance online, this was 'belittled' slightly by the check in staff and so ultimately we did purchase additional insurance, though I understand I could have stuck to my original booking. That said, the check in staff and and at departure were friendly, and helpful. Without doubt the biggest let down was that the car was not the one chosen, and was not 'similar' as their website suggested. Instead of a 'Medium SUV' similar to a Ford Kuga, we had a Peugeot 2008 which is the size, height and with the space of a mini hatchback.
The car was great but we were less than impressed at being charged £75 as we hadn't seen the VERY small print notice that we needed a credit (not debit) card to book. We were also charged £20 for an extra driver which came as something of a surpise.
I live in UK for one year and I frequently rent cars in online companies. However, the terms and conditions of the easyrent are very different from the other companies and it was not emphasized the need for a credit card and a deposit of 1500 pounds for a one-day rental. So, I lost my money and had to find another car in a very small amount of time. I'm extremely disappointed.
The car had a few issues. The needs service light came on just after renting, the tire pressure sensors went off and i had to fill them, the car had been wiped out but the bucket must have been dirty and the car was streaky. The gauge cluster was the most noticable. Overall not a bad experience.
I must say that the customer service provided by Jacob was excellent. It was the first time hiring with Easirent and the whole process was a breeze. The car was top notch too.
I am in the process of writing an official review of my experiences of renting a car from a range of rental companies in and around Belfast International Airport.
A brief overview on renting a car from Easirent was that it was a difficult process, with little help or trust from staff and minimal customer service. From time of arrival to driving away the car took 2 hours and 15 mins. During my time having the Easirent car, I never felt comfortable having your car during the rental period for several reasons.
All in all, the overall rating of rental was poor.
