Pick-up Instructions

The SCOTTIES - Queenstown Airport car hire location is located out of the airport

The store is outside the airport. Upon your arrival to the airport, dial 0800-736825 for free by using the coin phone set in the airport. The car rental company will arrange a free shuttle bus to pick you up. It will be a two-minute drive.

Drop-off Instructions

Please return the car to the car rental company parking lot and return the car according to the sign or staff guidance.

Extremely dishonest, the car was very old! The service was also poor! They didn't provide a full tank of gas as agreed in the contract, only 1/8 of a tank. When I returned the car, it had 7/8 of a tank left. I asked if I could get a refund for the extra gas, and they confidently said yes. I thought foreigners would be more trustworthy than us, but I still haven't received the refund. Even Rent Rent Car's mediation didn't help!

Terrible experience!!!! SCOTTIES is a very poor rental company and was the biggest disappointment of my trip to New Zealand. Their vehicles are generally old and in poor condition, which makes driving on New Zealand's many mountainous and steep roads very dangerous.
