Pick-up Instructions

The Advantage - SFO car hire location is located out of the airport

You can arrive of Advantage - SFO car hire by free shuttle bus.

Take the light rail Blue Line and get off at the Car Rental Center stop, you will see the car rental hall and please go to the ground floor. Go out of the car rental hall, turn left to offf-airport shuttle bus pickup area. Take the Advantage bus to the store. Advantage bus will arrive the pickup area every 25 minutes, the last train is at 11:45 pm

Drop-off Instructions

Serviced by Advantage Car Rentals. Please according to the guidelines of "Rental Car Return",After return the vehicle， you can take the shuttle bus back to the airport.

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

The rental process was not even completed, and the staff member opened his snack and started examining its ingredients, discussing it with his colleague. They completely ignored us waiting for them to finish. Additionally, they kept pushing for insurance sales without explaining the toll fee system for the Golden Gate Bridge.

Strongly advise against using this car rental company in the future. The front desk staff, who was African American, tried to deceive us by charging more. After we pointed this out, they repeatedly provided various excuses to cover it up. It took over an hour of back-and-forth before they finally removed all the extra charges and we got the car. By then, it was dark, and my wife and child were waiting and hungry. It was a bad experience, even though it’s all part of travel. We used Hertz earlier on our trip and got the car in 15 minutes, a completely different experience. I recommend everyone not to be cheap like me.

The service attitude of a front desk agent named John at Advantage is very poor. He always tries to upsell additional insurance and other services to Chinese customers. When I refuse to buy, he becomes unfriendly. For example, he pushes for upgrades on insurance, toll fees, and purchasing fuel from them.
