Like: The car, a Ford Fusion Hybrid, was an excellent, well-designed and maintained piece of equipment. Great car. Rate did not match the reservation rate (it was higher, due to "taxes and fees", but was quickly corrected, once I showed the printout and e-mail, which did include taxes and fees.
Dislike: That the rate was higher than was what was contracted for. Fortunately, I had printouts and e-mails to prove it.

the car had no power, it went backwards on the slopes despite being automatic. they delivered it to me without gasoline and at the time of returning it they wanted to charge me a surplus of 175 dollars to return it with the empty tank. Luckily I had the receipt that I put gas on it as soon as I picked it up at a gas station near the airport. They treated me badly on the dollar counter.

We initially chose Dollar because they had the lowest prices, likely due to a big promotional event. This made the place quite crowded, and we had to wait almost two hours in line for our turn. The representative who assisted us was a Chinese-speaking person, which made us feel at ease, but he was very persuasive in selling additional services. Although we had already purchased comprehensive insurance that included roadside assistance when we booked from home, the clerk mentioned that the assistance might only cover towing for 5-10 miles. This made it hard to decide on the spot, and for an additional $7 per day, we decided to purchase it. He also sold us a full-tank gas option, saying it would be convenient to return the car with an empty tank since gas prices in California were high. Perhaps due to the long wait and feeling hungry, we ended up buying this service too, adding another $89 to our bill. In hindsight, it wasn't really necessary, as we had to carefully plan our refueling to take advantage of this offer. When it was time to choose a car, most of the options were gone because of the crowd, and we couldn't get the Chevrolet Suburban LS SUV we wanted. We spent another half hour in the parking lot and eventually settled for a Nissan SUV. We had six people and a lot of luggage, so we had to fold down one of the rear seats to fit our 28-inch suitcase. Returning the car was similar; with our additional shopping bags, we had to fold down the third row completely to fit two 28-inch suitcases, two 24-inch suitcases, and one 20-inch suitcase, plus several large backpacks. It was a bit crowded with two adults and two children in the second row, but fortunately, the hotel was close to the airport drop-off point.

Picking up and returning the car was very convenient. Originally, I booked a mid-size SUV, but received a full-size SUV instead. Although the car had high mileage and my wife was not comfortable driving it, the staff quickly replaced it with two brand new Jeep Cherokees with only 7 miles on them. These new cars accompanied us for 4500 kilometers over half a month in the western USA.

The online booking price was 248 USD, but the actual payment was 521.96 USD, such a large difference feels like a trap. The GPS fee was 119.92 USD, and there were other insurance charges. About picking up the car. I rented from Dollar. The car was in good condition, but they secretly changed my Jeep Compass to a Nissan Rogue. After I complained, they switched it back. There was also an issue with hidden fees. They tried to make me buy liability insurance, claiming it was mandatory and illegal not to have it. This was totally false. Before going to California, I called my insurance company to check if my U.S. car insurance would cover the rental, and they confirmed it would. Dollar insisted I buy their insurance. I told them I had coverage and asked for it to be transferred, but they said it wasn't possible. The great thing about this rental service is that their SMS service told me that any mandatory charges had to be in writing. So, I asked the employee to write down and sign what insurance I needed to buy, and he backed off, saying it was optional. This guy was Indian, and his tactics had been reported by other customers. When dealing with him, stand firm and demand everything in writing with his signature; he'll give up on trying to overcharge you.

A perfect car rental experience, the car's performance and condition were excellent. During this trip, we had two incidents,
First, at the hotel in Monterey, we broke the rear car window while parking. We immediately contacted the rental office. Unlike other parts of the car, the window had to be fixed urgently to avoid hindering the trip. Much praise to the rental company for having a similar car sent over from San Francisco that night. They drove three hours and delivered it to us at 4 AM!
Second, on the way from Big Sur to Bakersfield, we accidentally took a very dangerous mountain road. We drove for two hours along a winding cliffside road and were very worried about the car's condition. But the car performed splendidly even on such a challenging road, thanks to its powerful engine. We appreciate the rental company and have decided to continue renting a car for our trip to Los Angeles on the 15th.

I waited almost an hour to pick up the car. I rented two identical cars, but was only given one of the reserved models. The other one, which was said to be the same class, was significantly shorter, making it very inconvenient. The car was handed to me without being cleaned, and the rear air conditioning was very poor in the hot California weather. The windshield wipers did not work properly, and the car lacked power. If I didn't compare the two cars side by side, it might have been fine, but the differences were too obvious. I requested a car change three times, but there were no available vehicles. Very disappointed, it seriously impacted my trip.

It's unbelievably bad, they try to scam you at every opportunity. Charged us hundreds of dollars upfront and refused to refund even after we declined additional services. They inexplicably charged city taxes at $75 per city, and an extra $60 for returning the car one hour late. The worst part was trying to replace our rented luxury SUV with a regular Nissan. After refusing, we were made to wait a long time, only to find several matching models in the parking lot. Truly a dishonest rental company with no merits! My deposit hasn’t been refunded yet, and I don't know if they charged me. I’m writing this review to warn other fellow countrymen. Don’t think that choosing this rental company is a good deal. I rented from this company in two consecutive cities, and no matter how many times I refused, they added all kinds of insurance and printed it out, taking advantage of the fact that you don't understand English. Once you sign, it's considered a contractual agreement! The first time, they gave me an insurance bill of over $200, even though I explicitly told them I didn't want it. The second time, the same thing happened even though I only rented for one day. Don't think that just saying 'NO' is enough; they will print out a whole bunch of insurance for you. And after returning the car, you'll face the awkward situation of figuring out how to get back to the airport. It's better to choose a rental company run by Chinese! Remember, Americans aren't as friendly as you might think. Fellow countrymen, please be cautious when renting cars.

A few years ago when I was on rotation in the U.S., I often used your booking website. The experience was great, the prices were fair, and the interface was in Chinese, which reduced the chance of misunderstanding. However, this time's experience has made me reconsider whether to directly book with a larger brand like Avis for my next U.S. car rental... This rental company insisted on not providing the originally reserved car. Initially, they claimed it was because we were going to Yosemite, even after explaining to the staff that we were not going there and evaluating the price difference, they still insisted that the originally reserved car was unavailable regardless of how long we waited and required us to pay an additional $20 per day. 1. The reserved car (Jeep Compass) was not available, and they replaced it with a BUICK ENCORE, which is not even in the same class.
2. Had to upgrade to a Nissan Armarda due to necessity, 12-day rental cost (¥3009 $267), very high fuel consumption AVG15.7 (miles per gallon), which converts to 14.93 liters per 100 kilometers in domestic terms, drove a total of 5000 kilometers, and the fuel cost was 800 dollars.
3. The car rental company has a poor rating, less than 2 stars in the US, but 8.7 domestically, deceiving people.
4. The company name 'Daole' suits them well, they only care about money.

The staff at the store had an extremely poor attitude. Their communication was very unclear, and they blamed the customers. Special thanks to the service after picking up the car. We picked up the car (KIA Rio) from the San Francisco airport rental center on the first night. The next morning, I accidentally scraped the right side mirror and scratched the right side of the car while reversing in Muir Woods. I called QEEQ and they said I could return to the rental location to exchange the car. On the way back, another car turned right and scratched the left side of our car. We exchanged information as instructed by the police since the other party had insurance. The insurance company took care of the claim, so we didn't have to pay anything on the spot. When we returned to the rental center to exchange the car, the staff reassured us that our insurance covered everything. They just needed us to fill out the checklist, so no personal on-site compensation was needed. They then quickly gave us another car of the same level (Ford SE) without any cumbersome procedures, allowing us to continue our journey swiftly.
However, before picking up the car, the rental center staff spent half an hour trying to upsell us. They recommended upgrading, claiming our current model was the worst. They mentioned the upgraded models had USB ports, backup cameras, higher horsepower, and better fuel efficiency. When we asked if our current model had USB and a backup camera, they were unclear. They also pushed for FasTrak toll cards and extra insurance until we clearly stated we had full coverage. Only then did they complete our paperwork, allowing us to finally get the car.

Dollar is the worst rental company I've ever encountered. When picking up the car, I specifically told the attendant that I didn't need additional insurance. They verbally agreed, but still added over $200 in insurance. It was my fault for being in a rush to get to the hotel and trusting people I shouldn't have. I signed without reading the papers. Lesson learned. I returned the car with a full tank and went back to my country, but over a month later, they charged my credit card without any notification. This is the first time I've dealt with such a terrible company.

Be careful when booking! This is an electric car! I only realized it was electric when I arrived. Switching to a gasoline car cost me 2-3 times more. Originally it was 1000 RMB for a couple of days, but it ended up being 4000 RMB for two days. The platform did nothing to help and charged me an extra 1000. I suggest everyone be cautious and not switch cars on-site.

The only cons was the sales man at the counter, who was trying to advertise and sell us extras when we wanted to pick up the care.
